Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO) was set up in May 1999 and is registered under the Companies Act, 1956. The Company was promoted by erstwhile Gujarat Electricity Board (GEB) as its wholly owned subsidiary in the context of liberalization and as a part of efforts towards restructuring of the Power Sector.Assets of the Board were dis-aggregated into six companies - One each in Generation and Transmission and Four in Distribution.

- Candidate should possess B.E. (Electrical / Civil) / B. Tech (Electrical / Civil) Only from Recognized University with minimum 60% for UR & PH Category Candidates, 55% for Reserved Category Candidates Aggregate of 7th and 8th Semester, First Trial without ATKT (Passed examination in First attempt)
- Vacancies: At present there are 80 vacancies and approximately 50 vacancies are likely to occur in the year 2015. * State Government policy for reservation of women shall be followed. * State Government Domicile Policy shall be followed.
